Here is the custom Black Foundation Stallion turned to a black elegant mare with a new mane and tail. As you may have seen already, the first time I customized this model back in 2010, the clay mane and tail I had sculpted on it originally had its last days and decided to come off (that's what clay without fibers does.) Despite the rough textured and lumpy mane of the time, I still absolutely loved it and wished to, I guess, "restore" the custom into a new and improved Mystic. Recently this past year I started sculpting on mane strand after strand after strand until she had a new mane and tail. Then she sat for the longest time on my work desk through all of school, track meets, leather making until now the final but simple Mystic was completed. She will always be a special model because of how she reflects one of my first customs.

Here are the two premier models Hermosa and Corazon (the first set.) I am excited to get the other two sets like all other premier people! :)
I am super excited because I am out of school and I have started a custom and finished one! Finally I have batteries for my camera so here are some good shots of all three... yes three... three traditionals! YES!
This is Wings of the Wind or Titan and he won first for 3D sculpture at my school's art contest, Beautiful Noise!
Next is Mystic who still is in the works. She needs touch ups and finish spray!
Now is the the Wixom beast I am working on with new mane, ears, tail, and horseshoes!
Yes! For the first time in a long time you finally get to hear (or read) me! Guess what! The post is not even really about art but of track! Everybody scream YAY! Life has been packed full! I have to remind myself to get on the computer and check my g-mail. Since when do you have to remind yourself to get on the computer... crickets. So that has been very interesting. One BIG bummer is that my camera needs double A batteries. I could, but not going to, swear that we have every single stinking battery in this house, but double A! AHHHHHHHHH! BLOGS WITHOUT PICTURES ARE BORING! Yes, I understand that. So, to the positive side, I have finished my custom Breyer from a few blogs back and he is in an art show right now. Of course, I have not posted about him because of the camera issue. Sorry.
Track has been every single feeling that you could feel this year- anxious, fun, boring, difficult, stressful, exciting, painful, building, accomplishing, mental building, and everything else. But for the most part it has been a very good season and I will treasure it for a long time because of the relationships I have made (or built) through the struggling and pain of practice. Lucas has done very well so far considering we have a small track meet.
I enjoy track pictures A LOT! I always have my mom take pictures while we run. Unfortunately her camera is not very good quality but she managed to get a few good shots! :)
In order: Andrew, Sam, Alaina, Cayla, Jackson, Sky, Bunnii (Jessica), Nicole, and me.
FYI, the last picture is a combination of two pictures at the same meet.
I mentioned a commission...? Yes, yes I did! here is my second commission of my friends favorite pony, Shorty aka. Short Stuff. I had to take photos of him with a cheaper camera so therefore the images are blurred. My friend especially asked for a blue Indian ring around his eye and added bangs.
